Abstract U radu je opisano nastajanje vjetra i korištenje vjetra kao izvora energije, dan je način mjerenja brzine vjetra i prikazani su instrumenti kojima se mjeri. Prikazane su osnovne karakteristike vjetra kao izvora energije, te su izvedene osnovne jednadžbe pretvorbe vjetra. Prikazan je odnos brzine vjetra sa lokacijom, vegetacijom, te definirana je ovisnost brzine vjetra s obzirom na visinu. Zatim, objašnjen je način rada vjetroturbine, ovisnost oblika lopatica na karakteristike same turbine, također dan je pogled na podjelu vjetroturbina s obzirom na snagu, položaj vratila, i broj lopatica. U drugom dijelu napravljen je proračun koristeći se smjernicama IEC 61400-2 standarda, na način da je proračun podijeljen prema nekoliko situacija u kojima bi se vjetroturbina mogla pronaći. Također, napravljen je proračun naprezanja lopatica i vratila vjetroturbine. Uz proračun vjetroturbine, izabrana je konstrukcija tornja koja je također mehanički i dinamički proračunata. Na kraju obavljen je odabir generatora vjetroagregata, uz definiranje sheme spajanja.
Abstract (english) The paper describes the creation of wind and the use of wind as a source of energy, the method of measuring wind speed is given, and the instruments used to measure it are presented. The basic characteristics of wind as an energy source are presented, and the basic wind conversion equations are derived. The relationship of wind speed with location, and vegetation is shown, and the dependence of wind speed concerning height is defined. Then, the mode of operation of the wind turbine is explained, the dependence of the shape of the blades on the characteristics of the turbine itself, a view is also given of the division of wind turbines concerning power, shaft position, and number of blades. In the second part, a calculation was made using the guidelines of the IEC 61400-2 standard, in such a way that the calculation was divided according to several situations in which the wind turbine could be found. Also, the stress calculation of wind turbine blades and shafts was made. In addition to the calculation of the wind turbine, the tower structure was chosen, which was also mechanically and dynamically calculated. In the end, the selection of the wind turbine generator was made, along with the definition of the connection scheme.
