Abstract Emocionalna inteligencija (EI) postala je ključni koncept u suvremenom menadžmentu, ističući važnost emocionalnih vještina za postizanje uspjeha kao menadžera. Emocionalno inteligentni menadžeri su sposobni uspostaviti emocionalnu vezu s članovima tima, motivirati ih, prepoznati njihove potrebe te efikasno rješavati konflikte. Emocionalna inteligencija sastoji se od nekoliko ključnih komponenti, uključujući samosvijest, samoregulaciju, motivaciju, empatiju i socijalne vještine.
U kontekstu menadžmenta, emocionalna inteligencija omogućuje menadžerima da bolje upravljaju svojim timovima, inspiriraju ih, potiču kreativnost te uspostavljaju produktivno i poticajno radno okruženje. Emocionalno inteligentni menadžeri su često bolji lideri, koji su sposobni prilagoditi se različitim situacijama, motivirati svoje zaposlenike te uspješno voditi organizaciju kroz promjene. Kroz kontinuirani razvoj emocionalne inteligencije, menadžeri mogu postati još uspješniji u vođenju timova i postizanju organizacijskih ciljeva. Stoga, razumijevanje i primjena principa emocionalne inteligencije ključni su za postizanje uspjeha kao menadžera u današnjem dinamičnom poslovnom okruženju.
Provedeno je empirijsko istraživanje razine emocionalne inteligencije kod menadžera na primjeru turističke kompanije u operativnom sektoru. Rezultati istraživanja prikazani su tablično i grafovima. Svi podaci istraživanja dobiveni su anketnim ispitivanjem. Istraživanje je pokušalo uspostaviti vezu emocionalne inteligencije i uspjeha menadžera.
Abstract (english) Emotional intelligence (EI) has become a key concept in modern management, highlighting the importance of emotional skills for achieving success as a manager. Emotionally intelligent managers are able to establish an emotional connection with team members, motivate them, recognize their needs and effectively resolve conflicts. Emotional intelligence consists of several key components, including self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
In the context of management, emotional intelligence enables managers to better manage their teams, inspire them, encourage creativity and establish a productive and stimulating work environment. Emotionally intelligent managers are often better leaders, who are able to adapt to different situations, motivate their employees and successfully lead the organization through changes. Through continuous development of emotional intelligence, managers can become even more successful in leading teams and achieving organizational goals. Therefore, understanding and applying the principles of emotional intelligence are key to achieving success as a manager in today's dynamic business environment.
Empirical research on the level of emotional intelligence among managers was conducted on the example of a tourism company in the operational sector. The research results are presented in tables and graphs. All research data were obtained through a survey. The research tried to establish a connection between emotional intelligence and the success of managers.
