Abstract Rad je usmjeren na jedan relativno nov i malo proučavan fenomen, a to je Fair Trade u turizmu.
Abstract (english) The article is based on a relatively new and little studied phenomenon, and that is Fair Trade in Tourism. Fair Trade in Tourism can be incorporated into existing tourism products of the companies implementing the guidelines Tourism Fair in its operations. The extent to which the products and organization really fair, is rather unclear and difficult to measure. However, there is a risk that Fair Trade tourism become the new buzz words such as ecotourism, with unclear criteria and objectives. The work sought to present the main arguments, questions and problems of development and implementation of Fair Trade tourism. Although this concept is not yet finally defined, he began to apply to the tourism sector. This shows a good example of practice Fair Trade Tourism South Africa. Although the purchasing decisions of tourists still largely based on the issues of cost, health and safety, more and more of those who are willing to pay more for ethical business travel companies.
The global economic situation, immoral practices of multinational companies, and I travel a product referred to as the obstacle to the realization of Fair Trade in tourism. Competitiveness, as a natural drive industry is contrary to the principles of Fair Trade, which means that it is necessary to change the entire structure of the tourism industry. In other words, the Fair Trade Tourism is a radical transformation of the world economic system that will help the tourist services and communities in the South that have the benefit of tourism.
Elections that tourists do, having committed itself to a destination and type of travel where they want to participate, has a huge impact on the success or failure of tourism projects. The reality is that as long as the world develops, tourism will continue to grow. The tourism companies can only strive for righteousness, because in the end the tourists are the ones who will judge the development of Fair Trade tourism products.
