This master's thesis presents the calculation and construction of a solar-powered vessel. The calculation was performed using the EES (Engineering Equation Solver) software package, while the vessel construction was done using the Inventor computer program. The primary focus was on determining the vessel's buoyancy and swimming stability. Buoyancy directly affects the vessel's resistance, while swimming stability is crucial for the safety of passengers and the vessel itself. In order for the vessel to move at a certain speed, a specific level of resistance needs to be overcome, which is explained in the second chapter of the thesis. Next, the calculation and construction of the propeller were performed, taking into account the resistance and the required propulsive force. The propeller calculation was based on the Wageninške B4-40 series diagram. Subsequently, the calculation of solar panels and the required battery capacity for a specific distance the vessel covers was carried out. Finally, an electric motor was selected based on the required propulsive force and the resulting losses. The thesis concludes with a conclusion as the final chapter of the work
