Abstract
Euro je valuta koju koriste države članice Europske unije, uveden 1999. godine i u početku je bio digitalan. 2002. godine novčanice i kovanice eura kreću u opticaj. Jedanaest država koje su sudjelovale prilikom stvaranja ekonomske i monetarne unije, zajedno sa Grčkom, prihvaćaju valutu eura. Republika Hrvatska je dvadeseta država članica koja prihvaća valutu euro 1. siječnja 2023. godine. U sklopu diplomskog rada provedena je anketa o zadovoljstvu građana uvođenjem eura kao službene valute RH. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja nalaze se u daljnjem tekstu.
Abstract (english)
The euro is the currency used by the member states of the European Union, introduced in 1999 and initially digital. In 2002, euro banknotes and coins entered circulation. Eleven countries that participated in the creation of the economic and monetary union, together with Greece, accept the euro currency. The Republic of Croatia is the twentieth member state to accept the euro currency on January 1, 2023. As part of the thesis, a survey was conducted on citizens' satisfaction with the introduction of the euro as the official currency of the Republic of Croatia. The results of the conducted research can be found in the following text.
