Abstract
Cilj rada je pobliže objasniti funkcioniranje opskrbnog lanca na primjeru paketne dostave, budući da je upravo paketna dostava jedan od najčešćih načina na koji proizvod dolazi do krajnjeg korisnika. Razvoj digitalizacije i sve užurbaniji način života jedan su od ključnih faktora koji su paketnu dostavu učinili sastavnim životom svakog kupca, te ja za očekivati kako će u budućnosti ona imati još jaču i snažniju ulogu. A kako bi se ona mogla razvijati neophodno je dobro funkcioniranje svake karike opskrbnog lanca jer u konačnici cilj opskrbnog lanca je plasirati proizvod od proizvođača do krajnjeg korisnika, pri čemu je krajnjem korisniku tj. kupcu važno da to bude u što kraćem vremenskom roku te uz što niže troškove.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to explain in more detail the functioning of the supply chain using the example of parcel delivery, since parcel delivery is one of the most common ways in which the product reaches the end user. The development of digitization and an increasingly hectic lifestyle are one of the key factors that have made parcel delivery an integral part of every customer's life, and I can expect that it will play an even stronger and more powerful role in the future. And in order for it to develop, it is necessary for each link in the supply chain to function well, because ultimately the goal of the supply chain is to market the product from the manufacturer to the end user, where it is important for the end user, i.e. the customer, that this happens in the shortest possible time and with lower costs.
