Graduate thesis is divided into seven basic sections. In the introductory part of the thesis, modern technology and the use of robots and manipulators in production are explained. At the same time, the representation of classic machines and CNC machines today was clarified. Furthermore, it is shown what the shaft is and what its tasks are, as well as the division of the return according to its purpose. The calculation determined the dimensions of the ideal shaft, which has no purpose, so the dimensions were corrected in order to obtain the functional dimensions of the shaft. All required loads that are less than the maximum allowed, as well as all deflections at certain points that are also less than allowed, are calculated. After the calculation, the material for making the shaft was chosen. In the practical part of the thesis, in the company STSI d.d. the sequence of processing operations by separating particles (turning, milling) after which we got the finished product is shown. After the processing procedure by separating the particles, the process of heat treatment improvement in ABS d.o.o. was presented, and the hardness was measured before and after heat treatment. Optimum hardness, toughness and strength were achieved through heat treatment. The final product met all the requirements.
