Abstract
U ovom radu analizirani su različiti pristupi rekonstrukciji mandibule, opterećenja na mandibulu te glavni uzroci puknuća i propadanja mandibule. Korišteni su programi Mimics (softver za segmentaciju 3D medicinskih slika) i 3-Matic za vizualizaciju 3D modela donje če-ljusti na stvarnom primjeru pacijenta koji je imao rekonstrukciju mandibule s pomoću titanske ploče. Opisan je postupak segmentacije čeljusti od ostatka lica, te mogućnost analize mandibule metodom konačnih elemenata, kao i usporedna analiza pacijentove čeljusti.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, various approaches to mandibular reconstruction, the analysis of mandibu-lar loading, and the main causes of mandibular fractures and degradation are reviewed. The Mimics software (a 3D medical image segmentation tool) and 3-Matic were used to visualize a 3D model of the lower jaw based on a real patient who underwent mandibular reconstruction with a titanium plate. The process of segmenting the jaw from the rest of the face is described, along with the possibility of analyzing the mandible using the finite element method, and a comparative analysis of the patient’s jaw was conducted.
