Abstract Moderna vremena nameću sve veće zahtjeve za proizvodnošću, kvalitetom i konkurentnošću cijenom. Ovakvu utrku u proizvodnji gotovo nemoguće je voditi bez simbioze sa suvremenom tehnologijom. Ulaganje u modernije tehnologije ne samo da ispunjava ove zahtjeve, nego i smanjuje opasnost od povrede radnika, umanjuje monotonost rada i umanjuje fizičke napore radnika.
Klasično upravljanje stupnom bušilicom je zahtjevan proces koji pri serijskom bušenju iziskuje od operatera ne samo veliku količinu utrošene energije, nego i konstantnu koncentriranost prilikom pozicioniranja i premještanja obradnog komada. Također, opasnost od pogrešaka povećava se prilikom bušenja velikog broja rupa, jer je održavanje konstantne koncentriranosti teško. Kod određenih proizvoda ovakav način rada je gotovo neizbježan, ali početna ulaganja u ozbiljnije strojeve i postrojenja većinom na početku rada tvrtke nisu moguća, stoga automatizacija klasičnih strojeva omogućuje dobivanje gotovo iste produktivnosti uz puno manja ulaganja novca.
U ovom radu opisan je postupak automatizacije klasične stupne bušilice koja je pretvorena u dvoosni CNC stroj namijenjen za bušenje cijevi, plosnatih čelika i nosača. Stupna bušilica automatizirana je uz pomoć koračnih motora, napajanja, drivera, Arduino ploče i žica. Za potrebne komponente napravljeni su proračuni koji prikazuju optimalan izbor elektroničkih komponenti ovisno o zahtjevnosti bušenja. Također objašnjen je princip kretanja pojedinih osi bušilice, te mehaničke komponente potrebne za rad bušilice. Na kraju je napravljena okvirna isplativost ulaganja u automatizaciju klasične stupne bušilice.
Abstract (english) Modern times impose great demand in terms of productivity, quality and competitiveness with price. This kind of race is almost impossible to lead without symbiosis with modern technology. Investing in modern technologies doesn't only fulfill these requests, it also reduces possibility of injury, reduces monotony of work and reduces physical effort of worker.
Classic managing of drill press is highly demanding procedure that when drilling large number of holes demands from worker not only great quantity of energy, it also demands constant concentration when positioning and relocating workpiece. Also, risk of making mistakes increases when drilling large number of holes, because keeping concentration is pretty hard. Some products demand this kind of work, but initial investing in serious machines and facilities is often not possible in companies start, therefore, automatization of classic machines enables getting almost same productivity with much less investing of money.
This paper describes the process of automatization of classic drill press which has been converted into two axes CNC machine intended for drilling steel tubes, flat steels and girders. Drill press has been automated with the help of stepper motors, power supplies, drivers, Arduino boards and wires. For listed components certain calculations were made that show optimal choice of electronical components depending of the demanding drilling requirements. The principle of movement of individual axes of drill and the mechanical components required are also explained. In the end a rough return of investment in automatization of classic drill press is made
