Abstract Svako veće poduzeće u svijetu i Republici Hrvatskoj ima odjel za upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima odnosno resursima. Istraživanja koja su provedena početkom 20. stoljeća ukazala su na potrebu postojanja takvih odjela. Upravljanje odnosno menadžment ljudskih potencijala interdisciplinarna je domena poslovanja. U okviru ekonomije, menadžeri ljudskih potencijala oni su koji zapošljavaju radnike, provode razgovore za posao, nadziru plaće, godišnje odmore, ali i provode sustave kompenzacije unutar poduzeća.
Zaposlenici obavljaju svoje radne zadatke ovisno o motiviranosti za rad. Kao jedna od zadaća odjela za ljudske potencijale ističe se i upravljanje i mjerenje motivacije zaposlenika. Motivirajućih i demotivirajućih faktora je velik broj u svakodnevnoj radnoj okolini. Kao jedan od najefikasnijih poticajnih faktora u poslovanju velikih poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj još uvijek prednjači novčano nagrađivanje zaposlenih.
Osim novčanih nagrada, postoje i razni nematerijalni i nenovčani sustavi kompenzacija, kao što su dodatni dani godišnjeg odmora, fleksibilno radno vrijeme i slično.
Na primjeru grupacije Podravka, kao jedne od najvećih hrvatskih prehrambenih industrija, prikazane su metode i sustavi nagrađivanja zaposlenika kroz nekoliko posljednjih godina poslovanja. Poduzeće je to koje se osim nagrađivanjem zaposlenika, bavi cjelovitim pristupom zaposlenoj osobi, bilo da brine o osobnom, bilo o profesionalnom rastu i razvoju.
Abstract (english) Every major company in the world and the Republic of Croatia has a human resources and resources management department. Researches conducted at the beginning of the 20th century indicated the need for such departments to exist. Human resources management is an interdisciplinary domain of business. Within the economy, human resources managers are those who employ workers, conduct job interviews, monitor salaries, vacations, but also implement compensation systems within the enterprise.
Employees perform their work tasks depending on the motivation to work. Management and measurement of employee motivation is also highlighted as one of the tasks of the human resources department. There is a large number of motivating and demotivating factors in the everyday working environment. As one of the most effective incentive factors in the operations of large companies in the Republic of Croatia, financial rewarding of employees is still at the forefront.
In addition to financial rewards, there are various intangible and non-cash compensation schemes, such as additional vacation days, flexible working hours etc.
The example of the Podravka Group, as one of the largest Croatian food industries, shows the methods and systems of rewarding employees through the last few years of business. It is a company that, in addition to rewarding employees, deals with a holistic approach to an employed person, whether caring for personal or professional growth and development.
