Abstract
Vodeni vrtovi su mjesta gdje priroda dopire do urbane sredine. Životni prostor urbane sredine danas sve više poprima obilježja prirode. Kompozicijom vodenog vrta i sadnjom biljaka pokušavaju se imitirati određene vrste krajobraza u prirodi. Vodeni vrt predstavlja ekosustav koji se može implementirati u svaki životni prostor. Svojim izgledom te bogatstvom flore i faune estetski su vrlo primamljivi. Osim svog primamljivog izgleda, vodeni vrtovi pružaju i relaksacijsko svojstvo. U vodenim vrtovima koriste se biljke koje uspijevaju u prirodi u sličnim uvjetima. Cilj je postizanje ekološke ravnoteže između vode, životinjskog svijeta i biljaka kako bi se vrt mogao sam održavati uz minimalnu intervenciju čovjeka.
Abstract (english)
Water gardens are places where nature reaches the urban environment. Today, the living space of the urban environment is increasingly taking ok the characteristics of nature. By composing a water garden and planting plants, they try to imitate certain types of landscapes in nature. A water garden is an ecosystem that can be implemented in any living space. With their appearance and richness of flora and fauna, they are aesthetically very attractive. In addition to its alluring appearance, water gardens also provide a relaxing property. Water gardens use plants that thrive in nature in similar conditions. The goal is to achieve an ecological balance between water, wildlife and plants so that the garden can be maintained on its own with minimal human intervention.
