Photography is a modern medium used in all areas of activity, so it is not uncommon to use it in activities of early and preschool education. Photography encourages creativity and provides opportunities for new ways of expressing thoughts, attitudes and feelings, but it is not known how much children actually understand the use of photography and ways of taking pictures to express what they want. The question arises as to whether children are photographed generically or photographed with reflection on the motives of the photograph. The topic of this Final Paper will try to answer the questions asked about understanding and distinguishing the angles of shooting children when photographing a particular subject. The conducted research in the kindergarten and the analysis of children's works and results will provide insight into the understanding and thinking of children when performing the task, as well as the answer to the question of whether the age of children affects this understanding. The feedback from the research will certainly help educators when planning photographic activities in kindergarten. Research has shown that the outcome of photography is influenced by the age of children, younger children show less understanding of shooting angles and motives are not clear focus of photography, while older preschool children show clear understanding and visibly apply it. In addition to the age of the children, the outcome of photography is influenced by physical predispositions such as height and body composition, as well as body position when taking photos.
