Abstract Tema ovog diplomskog rada su jurjevski običaji u Maruševcu kao baštinski sadrţaj u nastavi prirode i društva. Republika Hrvatska zemlja je bogata nematerijalnom kulturnom baštinom. U Registru kulturnih dobara Republike Hrvatske nalaze se i Jurjevski običaji na području sjeverozapadne Hrvatske, nematerijalna kulturna baština koja se u Maruševcu njeguje i danas. Od svih narodnih običaja koji su bar djelomice sačuvani u Maruševcu, posebno istaknuto mjesto imaju oni koji su vezani uz blagdan Svetog Jurja, 23. travnja, tim više što je župna crkva u Maruševcu posvećena tom svecu. Ministarstvo kulture Republike Hrvatske pokrenulo je inicijativu da se jurjevski običaji, pa tako i Jura Zeleni prijave UNESCU i zaštite kao spomenici nematerijalne kulturne baštine. Cilj ovog rada je steći uvid u dječju procjenu važnosti kulturne baštine i očuvanja kulturne baštine, tj. očuvanje običaja vezanih uz Jurjevo u Maruševcu, što je važno djeci koja žive na pdručju Općine Maruševec, a članovi su KUD-a „Klaruš“ Maruševec. Kroz intervjue saznati koji se običaji vežu uz obilježavanje Jurjeva u Maruševcu. Istraživanje je provedeno na skupini djece koji su članovi KUD-a „Klaruš“ Maruševec, u dobi od 7-12 godina. U prikupljanju podataka korištena je i metoda razgovora, kojom se djecu poticalo da pričaju o svojim doživljajima vezanima uz očuvanje jurjevskih običaja. U prikupljanju podataka o običajima vezanih uz Jurjevo u Maruševcu korištena je metoda intervjuiranja, a u teorijskom dijelu rada korišten je rad na dokumentaciji i stručnoj literaturi. U prvom dijelu definiraju se pojmovi kultura, baština, tradicija i običaji i iznose se teorijska baštinska obilježja jurjevskih obilježja dok se u drugom dijelu opisuje metodologija provedenog istraživanja. Nakon provedenog istraživanja možemo zaključiti da učenici vrlo visoko vrednuju baštinske sadržaje u nastavi i slobodnom vremenu učenika.
Abstract (english) The theme of this diploma thesis are St. George's traditions in Maruševec as heritage content in the teaching of Science and Society.The Republic of Croatia is a country rich in intangible cultural heritage. In the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia are included Jurjevo customs in the area of northwestern Croatia, the intangible cultural heritage that is still nourished in Maruševac.From folk customs which are at least partially preserved in Maruševec, particularly stand out those related to the feast of St. George, on April 23, all the more so the parish church in Maruševec is dedicated to this saint. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia has taken the act that customs, including the Jura Green, apply to UNESCO as monuments of intangible cultural heritage and to be protected. The aim of this diploma thesis is to gain insight into the children's assessment of the importance of cultural heritage and preservation of cultural heritage as well as the preservation of customs related to Jurjevo in Maruševac, important for children living in the Maruševec Municipality and members of KUD "Klaruš" Maruševec. Through interviews, find out which customs are associated with marking Jurjevo in Maruševac. The research was conducted on a group of children who are members of KUD "Klaruš" Maruševec, aged 7-12 years.During the collection of data, a method of conversation was used, which encouraged the children to talk about their experiences regarding the preservation of Jura's customs. The method of interviews was used in collecting data on practices related to Jurjevo in Maruševac. In the theoretical part of the paper work on documentation and professional literature was used. In the first part, the concepts of culture, heritage, tradition and customs are defined and the theoretical features of Jurjevo's customs are described, while in the second part the methodology of the research is described. After the investigation we can conclude that the students very highly valued heritage facilities included in the school curriculum and in their free time.
