Abstract U diplomskom radu obraĎuju se tri Fabrijeva jadranska romana: Vjeţbanje ţivota, Berenikina kosa i Triemeron.
Abstract (english) In this diploma thesis three of Fabrio's adriatic novels are being explored: Practicing life, Berenice's hair and Triemeron. At the beginning of the thesis, the emergence of new-historian novel in the Croatian literature is contextualized, the reason of its appearance, as well as the most important elements that are introduced with it in the Croatian literature. In the following chapter, the focus of attention is on Fabrio's life and work, but also on the fondness for the city in which he has lived and worked. The chapter on Mannerism gives us an insight into the author's stylistic choices in these novels that served to describe and approximate history in a peculiar way.

In the second part of the thesis, the novels of the Adriatic trilogy are analyzed, and through their interpretation Fabrio's philosophy of history, or historic recurrence is explained, as well as the connection to the contemporary events, which is evident in Triemeron, the final part of the trilogy. The final chapter of the thesis deals with the analysis of the Issue of identity in all three of the novels, and in which the impact that historical circumstances of characters have on human life and existence are addressed in Fabrio's manner. Thereby, the major focus is on the historic recurrence and cyclicality, the element which Fabrio emphasized in all of his novels.
