Abstract Odgojno-obrazovno ozračje postalo je interesom brojnih znanstvenika tijekom sedamdesetih i osamdesetih godina dvadesetog stoljeća, kada su istraživanja o učinkovitosti škola ukazala na važnost utjecaja nastavnog ozračja na učenička postignuća i motivaciju. U okviru teorijskog dijela ovog rada pojašnjen je pojam odgojno-obrazovnog ozračja, naglašena je uloga nastavnika u odgojno-obrazovnom procesu, prikazane su temeljne perspektive poučavanja te je istaknuta važnost istraživanja učeničke percepcije doživljaja nastave. Za potrebe ovog rada provedeno je istraživanje čija je svrha bila ispitivanje učeničke percepcije nastavnog rada na satu hrvatskog jezika i matematike kroz kvalitetu nastavnikove komunikacije s učenicima, nastavnog ozračja, stručnosti i kompetencija nastavnika te realizacije nastavnog sata. Uz to je ispitan učenički doživljaj istih nastavnih predmeta. U istraživanju su sudjelovali učenici trećih razreda srednjih škola iz dviju gimnazija, dviju četverogodišnjih strukovnih škola i dviju trogodišnjih strukovnih škola u Zadru. Kao instrument istraživanja korištena je anketa koja je originalno kreirana za potrebe ovog rada. Unutar svake škole u kojoj je provedeno istraživanje ispitani su učenici iz dva razredna odjela. Jedan razredni odjel odgovarao je na instrument na temelju procjene nastavnog rada na satu hrvatskog jezika, a drugi je odgovarao na ista pitanja vezano uz nastavni rad na satu matematike. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da učenici, bez obzira na spolnu pripadnost i školu koju pohađaju, uglavnom pozitivno procjenjuju sve ispitane nastavne komponente vezane uz rad svojih nastavnika hrvatskog jezika i matematike. S druge strane, njihov doživljaj istih nastavnih predmeta iznimno je nizak. Nesrazmjer između učeničke percepcije nastavnog rada i ispitanih nastavnih predmeta ukazuje na potrebu za transformacijom odgojno-obrazovnog rada s ciljem izgradnje kreativnog i poticajnog okruženja koji će pobuditi učenički interes i odgovarati potrebama sadašnjih, ali i budućih učenika.
Abstract (english) The educational climate has become an interest of many scholars during the 1970s and 1980s, when school efficiency researches pointed to the significant influence of the classroom environment on student achievement and motivation. Within the theoretical part of this paper, the concept of educational environment has been clarified, the role of teacher in the educational process has been emphasized, the fundamental teaching perspectives had been presented, as well as the importance of studying the student’s perception of teacher’s work. For the purpose of this paper, a research whose purpose was to examine the student’s perception of teacher’s work in Croatian language and Matematics through the quality of the teacher’s communication with the students, the teaching atmosphere, the teacher’s competence and realization of the lesson was conducted. In addition, a student’s experience of the same school subjects was examined as well. The study involved third grade high school students from two gymnasiums, two four-year vocational schools and two three-year vocational schools in Zadar. A survey instrument was originally created for the purpose of this paper. Within each school in which the survey was conducted, students from two classes were surveyed. One grade department responded to an instrument based on the evaluation of Croatian language teacher’s work, while the other responded to the same questions evaluating Mathematics teacher’s work. The results of the research have shown that students, regardless of their gender and the school they were attending, evaluated mostly positive all the examined teaching components related to the work of their Croatian language teacher and Matematics teacher. On the other hand, their experience of the same school subjects is extremely low. The disparity between the student’s perception of teacher’s work and their experience of examined school subjects indicates the need for the transformation of educational work with the aim of building a creative and stimulating environment that will provoke student’s interest and meet the needs of present and future students.
