Abstract U populaciji maslina na otoku Ugljanu postoji veliki broj samoniklih maslina koje nisu morfološki opisane.
Abstract (english) There are a number of wild olives that are not morphologically described in the population of olive trees on the island of Ugljan, the examination of the morphological characteristics of six self-standing trees near the village Preko on the island of Ugljan was carried out according to the international method used by the International Council for Olives and Olive Oil (IOC) from January to November in 2017. The investigated morphological characteristics were: five characteristics of the leaves, four characteristics of blossom, thirteen characteristics of the fruit and twelve characteristics of the pitt. Results are presented as the mean and deviation from the mean for hundreds of measurements conducted for each measured samples. Results are presented as the mean and deviation from the mean for hundreds of measurements conducted for each sample measured the characteristic. The results obtained for each tree compared with the described morphological characteristics of the Oblica variety in the catalog of the world's olive varieties in 2000. All six trees were compared with each other by their morphological characteristics: surface sheet, the number of flowers bloom, physiological male flowers, mass and form of pits and weight of the fruit. Not even for one of the six trees we can with complete accuracy argee that these are Oblica. Tree IV83 has the largest leaf area of 597.58 ± 111.57 mm 2. Trees IV83 and A10 have the largest number of flowers bloom of 15.7 ± 4,45 and 13,6±3,26. A10 tree has the highest physiologically small flowers. Tree A10 has the largest and tree M12 has the smolest weight of the fruit with an average weight of 3.5 g and 1.70 g. Due to the potential impact of agro-ecological conditions on morphological characteristics for a detailed determination of morphological indicators and later accurately determine the category an additional monitoring of theses should be done.
