Abstract (english) Motor skills are the effective implementation of motor activity in relation to physical parameters. Motor skills are often divided into: psychomotor force, psychomotor coordination, psychomotor speed, psychomotor balance, psychomotor precision, flexibility and endurance. Balance can easily be defined as the ability to control the equilibrium position under the influence of gravity. For the perception of the position in the space as a receptor, the vestibular apparatus is located in the inner ear labyrinth and is responsible for the direction of the force acting, accelerating, slowing down and rotating the body. Coordination is the ability to control the movements of the entire body or parts of the locomotor system, and is manifested by the rapid and precise performance of complex motor tasks, or by speeding up motor problems. The aim of the research was to establish the relation of balance and coordination in children of preschool age. The survey was conducted on a suitable sample of 92 pre-school children, of whom 49 boys and 43 girls. Balance and coordination are estimated with three tests that are estimating balance (standing on the bench at full foot on one leg with eyes closed, standing on a bench on both feet sideways on the rise with his eyes closed, standing on the bench at full foot one foot in front of the other) and three tests tat are estimating coordination ( walking quadruple, running around the stacks, step by step). The results indicate that there is a correlation between the balance and the coordination that was achieved in all the tests except the standing test on the two feet feet, one in front of the other and a 4-foot walk test. Differences by gender and additional sporting activities are significant only in the racing test between stands. Boys have more coordination than girls. Children who have additional sports activities have better coordination than children who are not involved in additional sports activities. To coclude by the given resoults, the balance is related to the coordination and the application of the kinesiologic operators to the development of the balance could indirectly affect the better results in the coordination evaluation tests and vice versa.
