Abstract Zadarska županija sa svojim klimatskim obilježjima i bogatstvom tala netretiranih kemijskim sredstvima ima velik potencijal za razvoj organske poljoprivrede koju karakterizira proizvodnja bez pesticida i mineralnih gnojiva. Ovakvom proizvodnjom dobiva se hrana koja sadrži manje nepoželjnih supstanci poput teških metala, antibiotika, aditiva i konzervansa, dakle zdravija hrana više vrijednosti. U svjetlu svjetskih trendova sve većeg zanimanja za zdraviji život, oblici turizma koji nude lokalno uzgojene organske proizvode i boravak u prirodi privući će ekološki osviještenije turiste i doprinijeti održivom razvoju ruralnih područja koji se sastoji od gospodarske, društvene i ekološke komponente. Ekoagriturizam karakterizira spajanje ponude vlastitih organskih proizvoda na seoskom gospodarstvu i niza turističkih usluga kao što su usluge smještaja, usluge degustacije, mogućnosti za rekreaciju i sport, edukativne aktivnosti, sudjelovanje u poljoprivrednim poslovima i dr. Po tipologiji, ekoagriturizam spada u ruralni turizam jer se razvija na ruralnim područjima koja čine 92,8 % kopna Zadarske županije što je još jedna komparativna prednost u njegovu razvijanju. Nakon teorijske obrade pojmova ekoagriturizam i organsko poljodjelstvo te primarnog istraživanja stavova organskih proizvođača koji svoje usluge nude na vlastitim turističkim seoskim obiteljskim gospodarstvima napravljena je SWOT analiza s prikazom najvažnijih trenutnih snaga i slabosti te budućih prilika i prijetnji koje bi mogle utjecati na razvoj ekoagriturizma u Zadarskoj županiji. Zaključak koji se nameće jest da, uzevši u obzir atraktivne resurse kojima Zadarska županija raspolaže, ovaj oblik turizma nije dovoljno razvijen, a s obzirom na to da pruža priliku za revitalizaciju ruralnih područja pogođenih iseljavanjem i starenjem stanovništva, na njegovu daljnjem razvoju trebalo bi sustavno poraditi.
Abstract (english) The climatic features and the abundance of soils un-treated with chemicals in the Zadar County offer an ample potential for the development of organic agriculture producing without any pesticides and mineral fertilizers. Such production gives food with less unwanted ingredients such as heavy metals, antibiotics, additives and preservatives, i.e. healthier food with higher values. In the light of the increasing interest for healthy life style world over, the forms of tourism offering locally grown organic products and time spent in the nature will attract visitors who are more ecologically aware and will contribute to a sustainable development of rural areas in economic, social and ecologic sense. Eco-agritourism is a merge of one’s own organic products on a farm and a myriad of tourist services such as accommodation, tasting, possibilities for recreation and sports, educational activities, participation in farming etc. By typology, eco-agritourism is part of rural tourism as it takes place in rural areas that account for 92,8 % of the County’s areal, the fact that makes yet another comparative benefit for its development. After a theoretical elaboration of the notions of eco-agritourism and organic farming and a primary research of the opinion of organic producers, a SWOT analysis was made showing the most relevant strenghths and weaknesses at the moment, as well as future opportunities and threats that could affect the development of the eco-agritourism in the Zadar County. The conclusion thereof is: in regard to the appealing resources in the Zadar County, this form of tourism is not developed enough, and with in mind that it offers elements for a revitalization of the rural areas affected by migration and ageing population, a systematic engagement should be employed.
