Abstract U ovom diplomskom radu je promatrana knjižnica kao kontekst dječjih aktivnosti. Nakon uvoda, rad započinje određivanjem pojma, uloga i zadaća narodne knjižnice te shvaćanje knjižnice kao mjesta informalnog obrazovanja, kao što su primjerice muzeji, arhivi, botanički vrtovi, zoološki vrtovi i slično. Kako su aktivnosti u knjižnici provedene suradnjom Gradske knjižnice Zadar i dječjeg vrtića Grigor Vitez (područni objekt DV-a Radost), navode se osnovne informacije i karakteristike spomenute knjižnice. U trećem dijelu rada upoznajemo se sa suvremenim shvaćanjima o djetetu koja su potaknula promjene u djelatnosti i ulozi dječjih knjižnica. Opisuje se značenje dječjih knjižnica danas i aktivnosti koje se provode u njima. Vidljiv je i opis Dječjeg odjela Gradske knjižnice Zadar i usluga koje pruža svojim korisnicima. Dječje aktivnosti u knjižnici provodile su se projektnim oblikom rada koji predstavlja najprimjereniji oblik rada s djecom predškolske dobi, a prikazan je u četvrtom dijelu rada. Provedena su dva projekta s djecom predškolske dobi: Knjižnica u mom vrtiću (bibliobus) i Priča na filcu (knjižnica i njene funkcije). U petom dijelu objašnjava se metodologija istraživanja (problem, cilj i metodološki postupci). U ovom radu se istražuje povezanost oblikovanja pedagoških aktivnosti u knjižnici s dječjom percepcijom knjižnice kao ustanove i aktivnosti koje se provode u njoj. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom sustavnog promatranja i polustrukturiranog intervjua s dvadesetero djece iz starije, dobno mješovite vrtićke skupine te četiri odgojiteljice i dvije knjižničarke. Metode sustavnog promatranja i intervjua su prikazane u šestom i sedmom poglavlju rada. Rezultati istraživanja trebali bi pomoći u oblikovanju i optimalizaciji projekata u dječjem vrtiću.
Abstract (english) In this master thesis, a library was observed as a context for children's activities. After the introduction, the thesis begins with defining the concept, the role and the tasks of the public library and the understanding of the library as a place of informal education, such as museums, archives, botanical gardens, zoos, etc. As library activities were carried out by cooperation of Zadar Public Library and kindergarten Grigor Vitez (area facility of kindergarten Radost), the basic information and characteristics of the library are mentioned. In the third part of the thesis, we are introduced to contemporary perspectives on a child, which have prompted changes in activities and the role of children's libraries. In this part, the meaning of children's libraries nowadays and the activities carried out in them are described. There is also a description of the Children's Department of the Zadar Public Library and the services it provides to its users. Children's activities in the library activities were conducted in the form of a project, which represents the most appropriate form of work with children of preschool age, and is represented in the fourth part of the thesis. Two projects were conducted with preschool children: Library in my kindergarten (bookmobile) and The story on the felt (library and its functions). In the fifth part, the research methodology is explained (the problem, the aim and methodological procedures). In this thesis, the correlation between the formation of pedagogical activities in the library and children's perception of the library as an institution and the activities carried out in it. The research was conducted through a systematic observation and semi-structured interview with twenty children from the older, mixed age kindergarten group and also four preschool educators and two librarians. Methods of systematic observation and interviews are presented in the sixth and seventh chapter of the thesis. Research results should help with designing and optimizing projects in kindergarten.
