Abstract
Uvod: Hepatitis C je infekcija jetre uzrokovana virusom hepatitisa C (HCV). „Iako HCV uzrokuje i akutni hepatitis, infekcija se vrlo često manifestira kao kronični hepatitis. Prenosi se parenteralnim putem najčešće transfuzijom krvi, intravenskim unosom u narkomana, u bolesnika na hemodijalizi, operativnim zahvatima, akunpunkturom, transplatacijom organa, te rjeđe seksualnim putem“(1). „Vrijeme inkubacije hepatitisa C je 6 do 10 tjedana. Najveći broj akutnih infekcija ostaje asimptomatski, tako da samo ¼ bolesnika ima simptome akutnog hepatitisa. Približno 20% do 25% bolesnika tijekom 20 do 30 godina razvija cirozu jetre“ (2). „DAA terapija uključuje samo peroralnu primjenu temeljenu na kombinaciji direktno djelujućih antivirusnih lijekova“ (11)“. Cilj rada: Prikazati ulogu prvostupnice sestrinstva u provedbi zdravstvene njege bolesnika oboljelog od virusnog hepatitisa C. Rasprava: Kod infekcije virusom hepatitisa C vrlo je bitno sprječiti širenje infekcije te educirati bolesnika o simptomima bolesti, načinu prijenosa infekcije te mogućim nuspojavama. Također edukacija osoblja o zaštitnim sredstvima je od iznimne važnosti. Zaključak: Prvostupnica sestrinstva kod bolesnika oboljelog od hepatitisa C procjenjuje potrebe za zdravstvenom njegom, uočava napredovanje bolesti te planira, provodi i evaluira zdravstvenu njegu. Provodi edukacijske intervencije na svim razinama zdravstvene zaštite s ciljem promocije zdravlja i prevencije bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Introduction: Hepatitis C is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). “Although HCV also causes acute hepatitis, the infection very often manifests as chronic hepatitis. It is transmitted parenterally, most often by blood transfusion, intravenous intake in drug addicts, in patients on hemodialysis, surgery, acupuncture, organ transplantation, and less often sexually ”(1). "The incubation time for hepatitis C is 6 to 10 weeks. Most acute infections remain asymptomatic, so that only ¼ patients have symptoms of acute hepatitis. Approximately 20% to 25% of patients develop liver cirrhosis within 20 to 30 years ”(2). "DAA therapy involves only oral administration based on a combination of direct-acting antiviral drugs" (11). Purpose: To show nurses rolein care for patients with viral hepatitis C. Discussion: In the case of hepatitis C virus infection, it is very important to prevent the spread of the infection and to educate the patient about the symptoms of the disease, the way the infection is transmitted and possible side effects. Also educating staff on protective equipment is of utmost importance. Conclusion: Nurse in a patient with hepatitis C assesses the needs for health care, observes the progression of the disease and plans, implements and evaluates health care. Conducts educational interventions at all levels of health care with the aim of health promotion and disease prevention.
