Abstract
Questa tesi di laurea è fondata sull’analisi del mito greco nelle tragedie Pilade, Affabulazione, Orgia di Pier Paolo Pasolini. Nella prima introduttiva si presenta lo scrittore e la sua opera letteraria. Dopo ci soffermiamo sulle caratteristiche del teatro pasoliniano. Inoltre, forniremo un’immagine generale dei miti nella sua produzione letteraria. Dato che lo scopo di questa tesi è investigare i miti nelle sue tragedie, questioneremo il modo nel quale lo scrittore utilizza i miti per rappresentare le opinioni politiche opposte, l’ipocrisia della società e la diversità concepita attraverso il prisma dei suoi eroi tragici. È opinione comune che Pasolini veda la cultura antica greca come modello per lo sviluppo della società italiana, quindi presteremo attenzione nel modo in cui rovescia il mito greco quando critica la società contemporanea, specialmente nelle tragedie Pilade, Affabulazione e Orgia.
Abstract (croatian)
Ovaj rad temelji se na analizi grčkog mita u Pasolinijevim tragedijama Pilade, Affabulazione i Orgia. Prije svega, navest ćemo nešto o samom piscu, te njegovom umjetničkom opusu. Potom ćemo se dotaknuti značajki Pasolinijeva kazališta. Isto tako, pružit ćemo općeniti uvid u mitove u njegovom književnom stvaralaštvu. Budući da je svrha ovog rada istražiti grčke mitove u njegovim tragedijama, osvrnut ćemo se na način na koji pisac koristi mitove u svrhu prikazivanja različitih političkih stajališta, licemjerja društva i drugosti sagledane kroz prizmu njegovih tragičnih junaka. Uvriježeno je mišljenje da Pasolini vidi antičku grčku kulturu kao uzor za razvoj talijanskog društva, stoga ćemo obratiti pozornost na način na koji obrće grčke mitove kada kritizira suvremeno društvo, posebice u tragedijama Pilade, Affabulazione i Orgia.
Abstract (english)
This thesis presents the analysis of the Greek myth in Pasolini’s tragedies Pilade, Affabulazione and Orgia. In the introductory part some information about the writer and his literary opus are provided. Later on, the characteristics of Pasoliniˈs theatre are presented. Furthermore, a general introduction into the mythical phase of his literary production is given. Since the aim of this paper is to investigate the Greek myths in his tragedies, the thesis gives an insight into how Pasolini uses myths to express different political views, the hypocrisy of society and otherness through the prism of his tragic heroes. It is generally accepted opinion that Pasolini considers ancient Greek culture as a model for the development of the Italian society. Accordingly, we pay attention to the way how he reverses aspects of Greek myths when he criticizes the contemporary society, especially in tragedies Pilade, Affabulazione and Orgia.
