Abstract | U radu se daje pregled i opis sinjske hodonimije, odnosno užega područja grada Sinja. Korpus broji 106 hodonima. |
Abstract (english) | This thesis gives an overview and description of hodonymy of Sinj, including the surrounding area of the town of Sinj. The corpus consists of 106 hodonyms. In the first part of the paper, hodonyms are divided according to the motivation of naming, and local, regional and national features of the town's identity are recognized in these names. In the second part of the paper, attention is given to the deviation from the norm in writing hodonyms (The Official Gazette of the town of Sinj, Google maps, local boards with the names of streets and town squares). Deviations occur at the orthographic, phonological, morphological, and formative levels. Since the names of the streets on the plaques and boards are written in capital letters, for the purposes of this paper a questionnaire was compiled which examined the extent to which the people of Sinj deviate from the orthographic norms (writing capital letters in multiword street names) and morphological norms (declension of possessive adjectives derived from names, implementation of voice changes) of such given forms. By analyzing the results of the survey questionnaire, a conclusion was drawn in which the most difficulty arises in writing hodonyms, which contain as their first component an appellative of streets, and hodonyms that are colloquially marked, as well as that possessive adjectives derived from names are to a large extent subject to the declension of definite adjectives, which is a characteristic of conversational style. |
