Abstract Menadžment opskrbnog lanca uključuje upravljanje svim aktivnostima i informacijama koje sudjeluju u transformaciji proizvoda od sirovine do konačnog proizvoda. Radi povećanja ekoloških problema posljednjih godina u svijetu, uzrokovanih ponajviše zbog vanjskotrgovinskog poslovanja, nužne su promjene i uvođenje ekoloških pristupa unutar poslovanja kompanija. Ekološki odgovorno upravljanje opskrbnim lancem je noviji sustav upravljanja lancem, dodajući ekološke kriterije i odredbe. Istodobno smanjuje onečišćenje okoliša i troškove te povećava ekološku učinkovitost i profitabilnost organizacija i njihovih suradnika. Cilj ekološkog upravljanja lancem je smanjiti onečišćenje zraka, vode i otpada dok ekološke operacije također pospješuju poslovanje poduzeća u pogledu manje proizvodnje otpada, ponovne upotrebe i recikliranja proizvoda. S povećanom informiranošću kupaca i strožim propisima, industrije su počele integrirati čimbenike okoliša u sve sektore organizacije. Upravo ključ uspjeha ekološkog upravljanja leži u sudjelovanju svih pripadnika društva i njihovoj povećanoj svijesti o okolišu.
Abstract (english) Supply chain management includes the management of all activities and information involved in the transformation of the product from raw material to final product. Because of the increasing environmental problems in recent years in the world, caused mainly by foreign trade, changes and putting environmental approaches inside the business of companies are necessary. Green supply chain management is a newer chain management system, adding environmental criteria and provisions. At the same time, it reduces environmental pollution and costs, and increases the environmental efficiency and profitability of organizations and their associates. The goal of green supply chain management is to reduce air, water and waste pollution while environmental operations also enhance the company’s business in terms of less waste production, reuse and product recycling. With increased customer awareness and stricter regulations, industries have begun to integrate environmental factors into all sectors of the organization. The key to the success of green management lies in the participation of all members of society and their increased awareness of the environment. As all elements of the classic supply chain can be a source of environmental pollution, it is necessary to ensure greening along the entire chain. Many global companies have introduced an ecological friendly approach to supply chain management, including Toyota, Nike, Apple, IKEA and the Croatian company Ericsson Nikola Tesla, whose environmental business are presented in the
thesis.
