Abstract Das Thema dieser Abschlussarbeit war es, die Begriffe Liebe und Selbstverlust in der Tragödie Des Meeres und der Liebe Wellen des österreichischen Autors Franz Grillparzer zu erklären und zu analysieren. Am Anfang der Abschlussarbeit werden die Begriffe Mythos und Tragödie sowie ihre Bedeutung im Kontext dieser Arbeit geklärt, die den Leser schrittweise in die Analyse der Arbeit einführen. Das Ziel der Analyse dieses Abschlusspapiers ist es, das Problem der Liebe in der Tragödie zu erklären, die auf der griechischen Aufteilung der Liebe in Eros, Storge und Agape-Liebe basiert. Die Analyse bietet ausführliche? Definitionen aller drei genannten Typen von Liebe sowie eine detaillierte Analyse der Beziehung zwischen den Figuren und der Veränderungen, zu denen diese Liebesbeziehungen führen, sowie zahlreiche Beispiele aus der Tragödie. Nach der Analyse wurden die wichtigsten Ideen und Botschaften gesammelt, um zu einer Schlussfolgerung zu gelangen. Die Tragödie Des Meeres und der Liebe Wellen stellt eine wichtige Frage über das Problem der Liebe und ihren Auswirkungen auf die Identität eines Individuums und auf Selbstverlust. Das Werk Des Meeres und der Liebe Wellen dient zahlreichen Autoren zur unerschöpflichen Inspirationsquelle für verschiedene Analysen und kann daher zweifellos als eines der wichtigsten Werke der österreichischen Literatur eingestuft werden.
Abstract (croatian) Tema ovog završnog rada bila je pojasniti te analizirati pojmove ljubavi i gubitka samog sebe u tragediji Valovlje mora i ljubavi austrijskog autora Franza Grillparzera. Na početku samog rada se razjašnjavaju pojmovi mita i tragedije kao i njihova važnost u kontekstu ovog djela, čime se čitatelja postepeno uvodi u analizu djela. Cilj analize ovog završnog rada je objasniti problem ljubavi u tragediji na temelju grčke podjele ljubavi na eros, storge i agape ljubav. U analizi se nude iscrpne definicije sve tri spomenute ljubavi kao i detaljna analiza odnosa likova i promjena do kojih te ljubavi dovode uz brojne primjere iz djela. Nakon analize sabrane su najvažnije ideje i pouke kako bi se došlo do zaključka. Tragedija Valovlje mora i ljubavi postavlja važno pitanje o problemu ljubavi i njenom utjecaju na identitet pojedinca i na gubitak sebe. Djelo Valovlje mora i ljubavi služi kao neiscrpan izvor inspiracije brojnim autorima za raznovrsne analize te se zbog svega toga nedvojbeno može svrstati u jedno od najvažnijih djela austrijske književnosti.
Abstract (english) The subject of the following bachelor thesis is the explanation and analysis of the terms love and loss of self in Franz Grillparzer's tragedy The Waves of Sea and Love. The terms myth and tragedy are explained at the very beginning of this bachelor thesis, as well as their importance in the context of this work, which gradually introduces the reader to the analysis of the work. The main aim of the analysis is to clarify the depiction of love in this tragedy based on the Greek classifications of love: eros, storge and agape love. The analysis offers detailed definitions of all three types of love as well as a thorough evaluation of character relationships and the changes that these loves lead to. After the analysis, the most important ideas and lessons are collected in order to come to a conclusion. The tragedy The Waves of the Sea and Love raises an important question about the problem of love and its impact on an individual’s identity and on the loss of self. The Waves of the Sea and Love serves as an inexhaustible source of inspiration for numerous authors for various analyses, and because of all this it can undoubtedly be classified as one of the most important works of Austrian literature.
