Abstract U ovom radu obrađena je tematika vezana uz rehabilitaciju bolesnika s ozljedom mozga. Ozljede glave mogu biti otvorene i zatvorene. Zatvorene ozljede glave uključuju potres mozga, kontuzije, krvarenja u mozgu, frakture lubanje.
Abstract (english) This paper deals with the topic related to the rehabilitation of patients with brain injuries. Head injuries can be open and closed. Closed head injuries include concussion, contusions, cerebral hemorrhage, skull fractures. It is estimated that only about 15% to 20% of these injuries are treated surgically, while all others are treated conservatively. The entire process of rehabilitation in the hospital will be presented through the work. When the next ones are opened, there is always a great danger of infections and post-traumatic scars, which in later life can cause various unpleasant complications. The brain can be injured by the direct or indirect action of injury forces on it. Then the injuries can be localized to one, several or more places in the brain. All injuries that directly or indirectly lead to damage to the brainstem are especially dangerous. Direct brain lesions can be: concussion (commotio cerebri), contusions and diffuse axonal lesions. Indirect brain damage most often occurs when bleeding in the skull creates a blood clot that puts pressure on the brain. Depending on the location of the clot, we distinguish epidural hematoma, Subdural hematoma, hematoma in the brain. Blood may also be present in cavities containing cerebrospinal fluid. The injuries described lead to damage to parts of the brain, which can manifest in a variety of ways. In the most severe injuries, an unconscious state called coma occurs.
