Abstract (english) Objective: The aim of this paper is to examine the knowledge and attitudes of nursing students about National Cancer Early Detection Programs. To determine whether there are differences in the knowledge of nursing students with regard to the year of study and whether there are differences in opinion in relation to the year of study, source of information, knowledge of cancer patients and first generation relatives. Determine whether nursing students are familiar with this topic, or whether they should continue to upgrade their knowledge or need to include more information during universitye ducation. Study Design:The study is structured as a cross-sectional study. Participants and Methods: The study included 103 nursing students. The chosen method was ananonymous questionnaire which contains questions on general data of respondents, questions on knowledge of cancer risk factors. This study contains students knowledge about preventive programs for cancer early detection and views on National programs for cancer early detection. Also includes students awareness of prevention programs and their attitudes regarding the study plan and program. IBM SPSS Statistics 26 was used for statistical analysis. Results:The majority of respondents agreed that education about cancer prevention measures was included in their study plan and program. Most of the respondents are familiar with existence of National Program for Early Detection of Breast, Cervical and Colon Cancer, but less than half of the respondents (47.6%) knew about the existence of the National Program for Lung Cancer Early Detection. Regards to the year of study, an insufficient level of knowledge about the target population for early detection of breast and cervical cancer was detected in second year graduate students. In relation to the source of information, knowledge of cancer patients and first generation relatives, most respondents do not agree with the statement that the promotionalvideos of the National Program for cancer early detection are sufficiently informative, clear and contain all important information about cancer. Conclusion: Students have acquired knowledge about cancer prevention measures during education, which confirms the result that almost all respondents answered in the affirmative that cancer education is included in their curriculum. Students' knowledge about National Prevention Programs is satisfactory. The fact that less than half of the respondents, (47.6%) knew about the existence of the National Program for Lung Cancer Early Detection, shows that nursing students are less familiar with recent information and should upgrade their knowledge.
