Abstract
Želeći doprinijeti proučavanjima sociolingvističke situacije hrvatskoga ranog srednjeg vijeka, donosi se antroponomastička analiza dvanaest isprava hrvatskoga kralja Petra Krešimira IV. U radu su uspoređena hrvatska, romanska te kršćanska (grčka i hebrejska) osobna imena s ciljem utvrđivanja zastupljenosti imena unutar pojedine isprave, tj. utvrđivanja stupnja prevlasti hrvatskih u odnosu na romanska imena, s obzirom na povijesne prilike toga vremena. Analiza je pokazala znatan utjecaj hrvatskoga supstrata na antroponimijskome polju te su isprave kao takve povijesno važan i vjerodostojan izvor podataka o romansko-hrvatskoj simbiozi u ranome srednjem vijeku.
Abstract (english)
In order to contribute to the study of the sociolinguistic situation of the Croatian early Middle Ages, an anthroponomastic analysis of twelve documents of the Croatian King Petar Krešimir IV is presented. The paper compares Croatian, Romance and Christian (Greek and Hebrew) personal names in order to determine the representation of names within a document, ie. to determine the degree of dominance of Croatian over Romance names, given the historical circumstances of the time. The analysis showed a considerable influence of the Croatian substratum in the anthroponymic field, and the documents as such are a historically important and credible source of data on the Romanesque-Croatian symbiosis in the early Middle Ages.
