Abstract Rad istražuje ključnu ulogu odgajatelja u poticanju cjelokupnog razvoja djeteta. Fokusiranjem na tjelesni, kognitivni i socioemocionalni aspekt razvoja, analizira se kako odgajatelji pružaju podršku i smjernice za svako od ovih razvojnih područja. Odgajatelji trebaju na odgovarajući način i u pravo vrijeme djeci omogućiti usvajanje te usavršavanje očekivanih ponašanja. S obzirom da je odgajatelj često prva osoba izvan obiteljskog kruga koja vodi brigu o djetetu, važan je način na koji komunicira s djetetom te način na koji gradi povjerenje i stvara uvjete za socijalno učenje. U ovom radu od četiri poglavlja prikazuje se cjelokupni razvoj djeteta u ranom djetinjstvu te odgajateljev utjecaj na svaki pojedini aspekt. U kontekstu tjelesnog razvoja, odgajatelji osiguravaju fizički siguran i poticajan okoliš u kojem se djeca mogu kretati, istraživati i razvijati motoričke vještine. Kroz strukturirane tjelesne aktivnosti i igru, potiču zdrav razvoj dječjeg tijela. Odgajatelji imaju ključnu ulogu u poticanju kognitivnog razvoja djeteta. Oni potiču rast djetetove maštovitosti, rješavanje problema i razvoj jezičnih vještina. Kroz raznovrsne aktivnosti i igre, odgajatelji stvaraju stimulativno okruženje koje potiče kognitivni napredak. Socioemocionalni razvoj nije manje važan, a odgajatelji imaju ključnu ulogu u razvoju emocionalne inteligencije, socijalnih vještina i samopouzdanja kod djece. Pružajući emocionalnu podršku, učeći djecu kako prepoznati i izražavati svoje osjećaje te potičući pozitivne međuljudske odnose, odgajatelji oblikuju dječju sposobnost da se uspješno nose s izazovima svakodnevnog života. Također je istražena važnost igre u dječjem razvoju i utvrđeno da je igra ne samo sredstvo zabave, već i moćan alat za učenje. Odgajatelji potiču igru kao način učenja i razvijanja vještina te pružaju strukturu i podršku kako bi se igra iskoristila za poticanje svih aspekata razvoja. Doprinos odgajatelja duboko je integriran u sve aspekte djetetova razvoja i ostavlja trajni utjecaj na djetetovu sposobnost da postane kompetentan, samosvjestan i empatičan član društva te nije moguće precijeniti važnost uloge odgajatelja u oblikovanju budućih generacija
Abstract (english) The thesis investigates the educators key part in the holistic growth and progress of the child. Focusing on the physical, cognitive and socioemotional aspects of development, it analyzes how educators provide support and guidance for each of these developmental areas. Educators should enable children to adopt and perfect the expected behaviors in an appropriat eway and at the right time. Given that the educator is often the first person outside the family circle who takes care of the child, the way in which he communicates with the child and the way in which he builds trust and creates conditions for social learning is important. This thesis presents the overall development of a preschool child and the educator's influence on each individual aspect. Furthermore, the role of play in children's development is explained, as well as the educator's contribution to the child's play itself. In the context of physical development, educators provide a physically safe and stimulating environment in which children can move, explore and develop motor skills. Through structured physical activities and play, they encourage the healthy development of the child's body. Educators have a key role in encouraging the cognitive development of a child. They encourage the growth of the child's imagination, problem solving and the development of language skills. Through a variety of activities and games, educators create a stimulating environment that encourages cognitive development. Socio-emotional development is no less important, and educatorsplay a key role in the development of emotional intelligence, social skills and self-confidence in children. By providing emotional support, teaching children how to recognize and express their feelings, and encouraging positive interpersonal relationships, educators shape children's ability to successfully cope with the challenges of everyday life. The importance of play in children's development was also investigated and it was found that play is not only a means of entertainment, but also a powerful learning tool. Educators encourage play as a way of learning and developing skills and provide structure and support to use play to encourage all aspects of development. The educator's contribution is deeply integrated into all aspects of the child's development and leaves a lasting impact on the child's ability to become a competent, self-aware and empathetic member of society, and it is impossible to overestimate the importanc eof the educator's role in shaping future generations.
