Abstract
Sustavi za pročišćavanje ispušnih plinova važan su čimbenik brodskih postrojenja kojima se postižu zadovoljavajuće emisije ispušnih plinova sukladno regulacijama Međunarodne pomorske organizacije. U ovom radu detaljno su predstavljeni zdravstveni rizici onečišćenja zraka ispušnim plinovima kao i regulacije koje Međunarodna pomorska organizacija postavlja kroz MARPOL konvenciju. Opisane su konstrukcijske i procesne karakteristike različitih izvedbi mokrih i suhih sustava za pročišćavanje ispušnih plinova primarno namjenjenih uklanjanju sumporovoih oksida (SOx). Također su raspravljeni i sustavi pretežno namjenjeni uklanjanju dušikovih oksida (NOx) kao što su sustav selektivne katalitičke redukcije te sustav recirkulacije ispušnih plinova.
Abstract (english)
Exhaust gas cleaning systems are one of the most important systems onboard that allow ships to achieve satisfactory exhaust gas emissions in compliance with the regulations of the International Marine Organization. In this paper the health risks of air pollution caused by exhaust gases are described in detail as well as the regulations set by the International Maritime Organization through MARPOL convention.The construction and process characteristics of various versions of wet and dry exhaust gas cleaning systems primary intended for the removal of sulphur oxides (SOx) are described. Systems mainly intended for the removal of nitrogen oxides (NOx), such as the selective catalytic reduction system and the exhaust gas recirculation system are also discussed.
