Abstract (english) | Dance is not only a physical activity, but also a spiritual and emotional process, connecting with one's inner self, with others, and with the nature around. Dance is a way to release inhibitions and express oneself through movement and music. As such, dance remains an important part of many cultures and societies. Dance has evolved into various styles and genres, but the essence remains the same - dance as a means of expression, communication, and connection is ubiquitous in today's society. The main determinant of this thesis was based on understanding all the components that can be learned precisely through dance. In order to facilitate the understanding of dance and all its features, the main focus of this thesis is evident in the positive effects of dance and its application during the treatment of various patients. In order to better analyze this topic and apply it from the outset, it was necessary to present dance throughout history, its significant divisions, but also to understand dance as a form of art. Thoughts and opinions regarding dance are showcased, delving into its expression through emotions, social themes, aesthetic elements, and its manifestation in experiences. Furthermore, concepts related to art therapy are also observed, including its development, principles, and the process of using art therapy. Then educational tasks are noted, with dance influencing the development of human cognitive abilities. Dance therapy demonstrates an extremely positive effect on various groups of people, including those with mental and physical health problems, as well as individuals going through stressful life situations. Dance brings a range of benefits and determinants that help the human body cope with the new situation, while also providing a certain level of assistance to the families of individuals using therapy. This thesis concludes with a chapter that presents dance educators and how dance enables maintaining balance. Without dance educators, it would be difficult to grasp all the significant components responsible for the development of this form of art. All these components together contribute to overall balance in life, enabling individuals to better cope with challenges, successfully perform their roles, and lead a more fulfilling and higher quality life. In its application, dance therapy should ensure the development of social skills, adaptation to different situations, and the realization of human potential. Dance therapy must be manifested through learning, acquiring new knowledge, shaping communication, socialization and a large amount of support from the environment. |
