Abstract
Lo scopo di questa tesi è quello di mostrare gli elementi principali del postmodernismo attraverso i quattro romanzi di Alessandro Baricco. Prima dell’analisi dei romanzi, è presentata la vita dello scrittore. Poi, si spiega il concetto del postmodernismo nella letteratura italiana, e sono elencati e spiegati gli elementi più comuni che troviamo nelle opere degli scrittori postmoderni. Per capire meglio il periodo del postmodernismo e i suoi elementi, sono stati analizzati i romanzi: Castelli di rabbia, Oceano mare, Seta e infine il romanzo Senza sangue. Alcuni degli elementi più frequentemente utilizzati da Alessando Baricco sono: l’ecesso, il corto circuito, la permutazione, la ripetizione, l’intertestualità, l’interscambio tra i codici e la furia conto l’ordine.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this thesis was to depict the main elements of postmodernism through four novels by Alessandro Baricco. Before the analysis of those novels, the life of the writer was presented. The concept of postmodernism in Italian literature was illustrated, and its most common elements that are to be found in the works of postmodern writers were listed and explained. To better understand the period and its elements the following novels were analyzed: Lands of Glass, Ocean Sea, Silk and Without Blood. Some of the most commonly used elements by Alessandro Baricco are: excess, short circuit, permutation, repetition, intertextuality, mixture of genres and uprising against order.
Abstract (croatian)
Namjera ovog diplomskog rada bila je prikazati glavne elemente postmodernizma kroz četiri romana Alessandra Baricca. Prije same analize navedenih romana, predstavljen je život pisca. Potom je razjašnjen pojam postmodernizma u talijanskoj književnosti, te su nabrojeni i objašnjeni njegovi najčešći elementi koje pronalazimo u djelima postmodernih pisaca. Kako bismo što bolje razumjeli razdoblje i njegove elemente, analizirani su romani: Kule od bijesa, Ocean more, Svila, te naposljetku roman Bez krvi. Neki od najčešće korištenih elementa kod Alessandra Baricca su: pretjerivanje, kratki spoj, permutacija, ponavljanje, intertekstualnost, mješavina žanrova te pobuna protiv reda.
