Abstract
U radu je obrađena tema zaštite tankova tereta kemijskih tankera premazima, koji su najčešći oblik zaštite tankova tereta. S obzirom na raznolike terete koji se javljaju u procesu eksploatacije brodova za prijevoz kemikalija, osim zaštite od korozije potrebno je osigurati da agresivne kemikalije ne prodru kroz zaštitni sloj i oštete osnovni materijal ili da ne dođe do kontaminiranja samog tereta. U tu svrhu razvijeni su mnogi premazi, koji ovisno o svom sastavu osiguravaju da ne dođe do korozijskih procesa, te ostalih oštećenja uzrokovanih agresivnim kemijskim utjecajima. Da bi premazi osigurali zaštitu za koju su predviđeni neophodno je osigurati pravilnu pripremu površina te osigurati odgovarajuću tehnologiju rada i kontrole. U radu su opisani postupci pripreme površina, tehnika i načini nanošenja premaza, način odabira odgovarajućeg premaza te su opisani najzastupljeniji premazi koji se koriste za zaštitu tankova tereta kod brodova za prijevoz kemikalija.
Abstract (english)
This bachelor thesis deals with the protection of cargo tanks, chemical tanker coatings which are the most common form of protection of cargo tanks. Due to the variety of cargos that occur while the ships are in operation for the transport of chemicals, in addition to corrosion protection, it is necessary to insure that aggressive chemicals cannot penetrate the protective coating and damage the base material and to avoid contamination of the cargo. For this purpose, many different coatings have been developed, which, depending on their composition, prevent corrosion and other damage caused by aggressive chemical influences. In order to ensure the protection for which coatings are intended, it is necessary to ensure proper preparation of the surface as well as to ensure proper operating technology and control. The bachelor thesis describes the procedure of surface preparation, techniques and methods of coatings` application, the selection of appropriate coatings and the most common coatings used to protect the cargo tanks on chemical tankers.
