Previously, the general stance was that this kind of food is not nutritionally complete and its consumption over a long period of time will cause nutritional imbalances and nutritional deficiencies in our pets. Many researches showed that most of foods are safe for our pets and if taken in recommended doses they will fulfill nutritional equirements of our cats and dogs. Of course, if we choose that kind of food regime t is advised to go for more frequent visits to the veterinarian for health checkups.
