Abstract
Laparoskopska ovariohisterektomija (LapOVH) kuje je minimalno invazivna operacija (kastracija) koja uključuje uklanjanje jajnika i maternice kroz male rezove na abdomenu koristeći se specijalnom opremom za izvođenje zahvata. Ova tehnika je stekla popularnost u veterini kao alternativa tradicionalnoj otvorenoj kirurgiji i trenutno je jedna od najčešće korištenih i najpopularnijih tehnika u minimalnoj invazivnoj kirurgiji. Danas su poznate razne metode laparoskopske ovariohisterektomije i sve su opisane u ovom radu. Prednosti laparoskopske ovariohisterektomije uključuju smanjenu postoperativnu bol i brži oporavak. Laparoskopska ovariohisterektomija smatra se sigurnom metodom, a mnogi vlasnici kućnih ljubimaca je preferiraju zbog kraćeg razdoblja oporavka i smanjene kirurške traume u usporedbi s tradicionalnom otvorenom operacijom.
Abstract (english)
Laparoscopic ovariohysterectomy (LapOVH) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure (castration) that involves removing the ovaries and uterus through small incisions in the abdomen using special equipment to perform the procedure. This technique has gained popularity in veterinary medicine as an alternative to traditional open surgery and is currently one of the most widely used and popular techniques in minimally invasive surgery. Various methods of laparoscopic ovariohysterectomy are known today, and they are all described in this paper. Advantages of laparoscopic ovariohysterectomy include reduced postoperative pain, faster recovery, and smaller incisions, leading to less scarring. This procedure is usually performed to castrate bitches. Laparoscopic ovariohysterectomy is considered a safe and effective option for female castration and is preferred by many pet owners due to the shorter recovery period and reduced surgical trauma compared to traditional open surgery.
