Abstract | Zarazne respiratorne bolesti svinja uzrokuju velike gospodarske gubitke u svinjogojskoj
svinjogojstvu uzrokovano upravo ovim bolestima.
dijagnostika, liječenje, suzbijanje i sprječavanje širenja različito.
epizootioloških podataka i kliničkih znakova, a uz to uzročnici učestalo djeluju i
sinergijski. Uz navedeno, kako većina ovih bolesti pripada uvjetnim zaraznim bolestima,
u njihovom pojavljivanju često i presudnu ulogu imaju nezarazni čimbenici. Zbog svega
pojavljivanju.
detaljno prikazani svi aspekti najznačajnije četiri virusne i šest bakterijskih bolesti unutar
ovog kompleksa.
pojedinih bolesti unutar respiratornog kompleksa bolesti svinja . |
Abstract (english) | Infectious respiratory diseases in pigs cause large economic losses in the pig industry, which
is confirmed by the fact that about 60% of mortality in intensive pig farming is due to these
diseases. This group of diseases unites diseases caused by different pathogens, which means
that diagnosis, treatment, control and prevention of spread are different.
At the same time, these diseases are very similar in terms of the appearance of clinical
symptoms, so it is difficult to distinguish them based on epizootic data and clinical symptoms,
in addition, the pathogens often act synergistically. In addition, most of these diseases are
opportunistic infectious diseases and non-infectious factors often play a crucial role in their
occurrence. For all these reasons, the most important respiratory diseases in pigs are
summarised under the term "porcine respiratory disease complex", which includes a
multicausal aetiology in which viral and bacterial pathogens and various non-infectious factors
are involved in their occurrence.
Since there is no literature on the porcine respiratory disease complex in Croatian, this thesis
presents the main zoohygienic and zootechnical non-infectious factors contributing to the
occurrence of this porcine respiratory disease complex, and all aspects of the four main viral
and six bacterial diseases within this complex are presented in detail.
This comprehensive presentation of the porcine respiratory diseases complex can serve as
teaching material for students of veterinary medicine, but also as a guide for veterinarians in
their daily work in the diagnosis, treatment, control and prophylaxis of these diseases, which
requires a detailed knowledge of all aspects of each diseases within the porcine respiratory
disease complex. |
