Abstract
Industrijska konoplja uzgaja se za dobivanje raznih sirovina, a nakon prerade često zaostaju nusproizvodi koji imaju potencijal biti korišteni u hranidbi domaćih preživača. Najčešće korišteni proizvodi i nusproizvodi su sjemenka, ulje, pogača i sačma industrijske konoplje. Kemijski sastav proizvoda i nusproizvoda industrijske konoplje sličan je sastavu uobičajeno korištenih proteinskih komponenti u prehrani preživača. Osim nutritivnih tvari oni sadrže i psihoaktivne supstance, kanabinoide. Zakonskom regulativom određena je maksimalna koncentracija THC-a dozvoljena u industrijskoj konoplji koja se uzgaja za potrebe dobivanja proizvoda i nusproizvoda. Specifičnost anatomije i fiziologije probavnog sustava preživača utječe na probavu određenih komponenti hrane. Kemijski sastav industrijske konoplje dobro se uklapa u način probave preživača. Visok udio sirovih proteina, od kojih veliki dio bypass proteina i visok udio vlaknine odgovaraju potrebama preživača. Proizvodne karakteristike poput mliječnosti, kemijskog sastava mlijeka, prirasta i kvalitete mesa su očuvane, a u nekim slučajevima i poboljšane u usporedbi sa drugim komponentama hrane preživača. Proizvodi dobiveni od životinja hranjenih industrijskom konopljom sigurni su za ljudsku upotrebu. Osim dobrih nutritivnih vrijednosti, pozitivan je i utjecaj malih koncentracija kanabinoida na umirivanje procesa upale i smanjenje stresa kod životinja. Također se pokazalo da životinje hranjene industrijskom konopljom proizvode manje metana te na taj način gube manje energije i smanjuju zagađenje okoliša.
Abstract (english)
Industrial hemp is grown to obtain various raw materials, and after processing, byproducts that have the potential to be used in feeding domestic ruminants are often left behind. The most commonly used products and by-products are industrial hemp seed, oil, cake, and meal. The chemical composition of industrial hemp products and by-products is similar to the composition of commonly used protein components in ruminant diets. In addition to nutritional components, they also contain psychoactive substances called cannabinoids. Legal regulations determine the maximum concentration of THC allowed in industrial hemp that is grown to obtain products and by-products. The specificity of the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system of ruminants affects the digestion of certain food components. The chemical composition of industrial hemp fits well with ruminant digestion. A high proportion of crude proteins, of which a large portion of bypass proteins and a high portion of fiber meet the needs of ruminants. Production characteristics such as milk yield, chemical composition of milk, growth and meat quality are preserved and, in some cases, improved compared to other ruminant feed components. Products derived from animals fed industrial hemp are safe for human consumption. In addition to good nutritional values, small concentrations of cannabinoids mitigate the inflammation process and reduce stress in animals. It has also been shown that animals fed with industrial hemp produce less methane and thus lose less energy and reduce environmental pollution.
