Abstract
Listeria monocytogenes je patogena bakterija koja se prenosi hranom. Zbog prisutnosti bakterije u gotovo svim lancima prehrambene industrije, listerioza u ljudi predstavlja značajan javnozdravstveni problem. Razlog pojavnosti listerije u klaoničkim objektima i mesnoj industriji leži u njezinoj sposobnosti preživljavanja, rasta i razvoja u mnogim nepovoljnim uvjetima. U svrhu sprečavanja i suzbijanja potrebno je provoditi stroge biosigurnosne mjere, s naglaskom na higijenu, čišćenje i dezinfekciju. U suprotnome, nepoštivanje propisanih biosigurnosnih mjera dovodi do potencijalne pojave bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogenic bacterium. Due to its presence in almost all chains of the food industry, listeriosis in humans represents a significant public health problem. The reason for the appearance of listeria in slaughterhouses and the meat industry lies in its ability to survive, grow and develop in many unfavorable conditions. For the purpose of prevention and suppression, it is necessary to implement strict biosecurity measures with an emphasis on hygiene, cleaning and disinfection. Otherwise, non-observance of prescribed biosecurity measures leads to the potential occurrence of disease.
