Abstract
Najkritičnije razdoblje za metabolizam visokomliječnih krava je prijelaz iz suhostaja u fazu rane laktacije. Krave tijekom visoke gravidnosti unose veću količinu energije od one koja je stvarno potrebna njihovom organizmu, pa se zbog toga višak energije skladišti. Prva faza laktacije najkritičnija je faza u proizvodnom ciklusu mliječnih krava, jer je organizam opterećen do krajnjih fizioloških granica. U ovoj fazi razvija se NEB. U prvoj trećini laktacije krave, zbog NEB-a i pojačane mobilizacije masti, gube u tjelesnoj kondiciji, a mogu i oboljeti. Do uspostave pozitivnog energetskog statusa dolazi 8–10 tjedna nakon teljenja. U međuvremenu organizam mobilizacijom masti nastoji umanjiti energetski disbalans. Međutim, to predstavlja veliku mogućnost za narušavanje metaboličke ravnoteže i nastanak masne jetre.
Abstract (english)
The most critical period for metabolism of highly lactating dairy cows is the transition from dry period into the early stage of lactation. Cows during pregnancy have high input of energy than it is really needed for their organism, therefore, the excess of energy is stored. The first phase of lactation is the most critical period in the production cycle of dairy cows, because the organism is loaded to the extreme physiological limits. In this phase a NEB is developed. In the first third of lactation, due to the NEB and increased mobilization of fats, cows lose their body condition, and can be affected by diseases. A positive energy status is established 8-10 weeks after calving. Meanwhile, the organism tries to reduce energy disbalance by mobilisation of fats. However, this represents a great chance for disruption of metabolic balance and development of fatty liver.
