Abstract
Tuberkuloza je zoonoza koja u svijetu još uvijek ima veliko značenje u zdravlju ljudi i životinja. Danas, 130 godina nakon otkrića, bolest je dobro upoznata, no unatoč dugogodišnjih mjera kontrole i suzbijanja i dalje predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih javno zdravstvenih problema u svijetu.Zbog toga joj se sa aspekta stočarske i prehrambene proizvodnje poklanja velika pažnja jer nanosi ogromne gubitke, a bolesne životinje i kontaminirani proizvodi predstavljaju izvor zaraze za ljude. Uspoređujući podatke o proširenosti tuberkuloze u goveda u Hrvatskojs početka 20. stoljeća kada je u pojedinim godinama bilo je 25 – 63 % otkrivenih slučajeva tuberkuloze, s današnjim rezultatima iz 2014. godine kada je od 338.342samo 23 pozitivna slučaja, možemo reći da jetuberkuloza goveda u Hrvatskoj gotovo suzbijena. Poznavajući tuberkulozu kao tipičnu reemergentnu zoonozu, mjere dijagnostike, kontrole i suzbijanja bolesti, moraju se i dalje provoditi na visokoj znanstveno stručnoj razini.
Abstract (english)
Tuberculosis is a world spread zoonotic disease with great impact on both human and animal health. Today, 130 years after its discovery, tuberculosis is well known disease, but althought the sophisticated measures for control and surveilance are devoped, it is still one of the world's most importnat public health issues. Therefor, considering the high economic loss that tuberculosis might couse and it's zoonotic potential it is a very significant disease in food production industry and herd menagement. Comparing the cattle tuberculosis surveilance results in Croatia from the beggining of 20th century when there was 25-60% of positive cases in certain time periods with today's results (in 2014 from 338.342 tested sampleas only 23 were positive) we can say that tuberculosis in Republic of Croatia is almost completely suppressed. Knowing that tuberculosis is a typical reemerging zoonotic disease, measures of diagnostics, control and prevention of disease disease must remain at a high scientific and professional level.
