Abstract
Infekciozna anemija kopitara (IAK) je zarazna bolest kopitara uzrokovana lentivirusom. Poput ostalih retrovirusa, virus IAK uzrokuje perzistentnu doživotnu infekciju u inficiranih životinja. Zbog navedenog kao i zbog činjenice da se kontrola bolesti uglavnom svodi na identifikaciju i prisilno klanje ili usmrćivanje inficiranih kopitara, bolest je vrlo značajna. Nadzor se uglavnom temelji na dokazu protutijela serološkim metodama iako se sve češće koriste i metode dijagnostike temeljene na lančanoj reakciji polimerazom (PCR). Bolest se od 1971. godine u Republici Hrvatskoj redovito testira agar-gel imunodifuzijskim testom (AGID). Sukladno Naredbi o mjerama zaštite zdravlja životinja od zaraznih i nametničkih bolesti i njihovom financiranju koju propisuje Ministarstvo poljoprivrede, od 2010. do kraja 2018. godine je na godišnjoj razini pretraživana cjelokupna populacija kopitara u RH. U navedenom razdoblju ukupno je pretraženo 157407 uzoraka krvnih seruma kopitara podrijetlom iz 21 županije u RH. Godišnje vrijednosti seroprevalencije u razdoblju od 2010. do 2018. godine bile su u rasponu od 0 do 0,13%. U usporedbi s dosadašnjim podacima, rezultati ukazuju na kontinuirano smanjenje broja serološki pozitivnih kopitara uz povremena odstupanja koja nisu značajna. Seroprevalencija je značajno varirala po županijama, a najviša je zabilježena u Ličko-senjskoj, Požeško-slavonskoj i Primorsko-goranskoj županiji. Provedenim pretraživanjem dokazana je niska seroprevalencija IAK na području RH i učinkovitost permanentnog nadzora s ciljem smanjenja broja pozitivnih životinja.
Abstract (english)
Equine infectious anaemia (EIA) is an infectious disease of equids which is caused by lentivirus. Like other retroviruses, equine infectious anaemia virus (EIAV) causes persistent lifelong infection in infected animals. Due to that and due to the fact that control of the disease is still universally based on identifying and then euthanasia or slaughter of infected equids, this disease is very significant. Control od EIA is mostly based on antibody detection by serologic methods, although PCR based methods are more and more often used in diagnostics. In Croatia this disease is regularly tested from 1971. by agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID). According to annual orders issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, from 2010. to the end of 2018. the entire population of equids in Croatia was annualy searched for EIA. In the specified period, 157407 blood samples of equids were tested originating from 21 counties. Annual seroprevalence values in the period from 2010. to 2018. ranged from 0 to 0,13%. Compared to previous data, the results indicate a continuous decrease in the number of serologically positive equids with occasional deviations that are not significant. There was considerable variation of seroprevalence on county level and most cases were found in Lika-Senj, Požega-Slavonia and Primorje-Gorski Kotar. This study has shown a low seroprevalence of EIA in Croatia and effectiveness of permanent control with the aim of reducing the number of positive animals.
