Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je opisati tehnološke postupke u intenzivnom tovu pilića, dotaknuti se najvažnijih tehnoloških i mikroklimatskih čimbenika u proizvodnji, te opisati nove tehnologije koje se koriste u proizvodnji, njihov utjecaj na poboljšanje kvalitete i ekonomičnosti proizvodnje, te utjecaj obogaćenog okoliša na dobrobit i zdravlje pilića. Tehnološki sustavi za hranidbu i pojidbu moraju pilićima osigurati dovoljnu količinu hrane i vode potrebne za brzi i kvalitetan tov, a objekt za uzgoj i sustavi za zagrijavanje, ventilaciju i osvjetljenje trebaju stvoriti povoljne mikroklimatske uvjete kako bi pilićima u uzgoju imali ugodu, očuvano zdravlje i dobrobit te sposobnost ispoljavanja genetskog potencijala bez prevelike pojavnosti bolesti i ozljeda. Nove tehnologije osiguravaju nam bolji nadzor nad svim mikroklimatskim parametrima, kvalitetom stelje te nad ponašanjem samih životinja što nam izravno koristi u kontroli i kontinuiranom poboljšanju proizvodnog procesa, a naročito u kontroli zdravlja pri čemu se promptnim reagiranjem može prevenirati razvoj niza problema te smanjiti potreba za liječenjem. i
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to describe technological processes in intensive fattening of chickens, touch on the most important technological and microclimatic factors in production, and describe new technologies used in production, their impact on improving quality and economy of production, and the impact of enriched environment on welfare and health chickens. Feeding and watering systems must provide chickens with sufficient food and water needed for fast and quality fattening, and the breeding facility, heating, ventilation and lighting systems should create favorable microclimatic conditions to keep chickens comfortable, with preserved health and well-being and the ability to display maximal genetic potential without incidence of too much disease and injury. New technologies provide us with better control over all microclimatic parameters, litter quality and the behavior of the animals themselves, which directly benefits us in controlling and continuously improving the production process, especially in health control, where prompt response can prevent the development of a number of problems and reduce the need for treatment.
