Abstract
Rad započinje putovanjem kroz prošlost kojim se želi istražiti pojava korupcije koja se u ljudski rod uvukla kao urođena i time postala sveopći problem današnjice. Kroz definiciju korupcije i njenih pojavnih oblika, korupcija se promatra kao negativna društvena pojava koja prožima sve pore društva, kako onog u bogatim ili siromašnim zemljama pa tako i u Hrvatskoj. U radu se analiziraju rezultati zadnjeg ispitivanja percepcije prisutnosti korupcije s posebnim osvrtom na percepciju u Hrvatskoj od vremena kada je uključena u ispitivanje. Tu se dolazi do činjenice kako se korupcija ne može u potpunosti izmjeriti već se isključivo priča o njenoj percepciji. Analizom zastupljenosti koruptivnih kaznenih djela te statističkim prikazom korupcije u Hrvatskoj prema mišljenju građana dolazi se do zaključka kako je potrebno angažirati sve segmente društva, od vlade, preko međunarodnih organizacija pa sve do običnih građana kako bi se korupcija uspješno suzbila na svim razinama.
