Abstract | Ovaj se rad bavi analizom upravljanja hotelom, s naglaskom na prilagodbu poslovanja u uvjetima pandemije korona virusa.
Kvaliteta poslovanja svakog poslovnog subjekta odlikuje se između ostalog i brzinom reagiranja i sposobnosti prilagođavanja na nove i nepredvidive situacije. Drastičan pad svjetskog gospodarstva, uzrokovan pandemijom korona virusa, nije zaobišao ni Republiku Hrvatsku. Tom krizom pogođeni su mnogobrojni gospodarski subjekti koji bilježe drastičan pad prometa. Dio njih nije opstao, a sve to ima za posljedicu povećanje broja nezaposlenih. S obzirom na to da je Republika Hrvatska turistički orijentirana zemlja, s velikim udjelom turizma u ukupnom BDP-u, pad turističke potrošnje dodatno je oslabio hrvatsko gospodarstvo.
Hotelsko poslovanje važan je segment turističkog sektora, što je dodatni razlog za prilagođavanje poslovanja novonastaloj korona krizi. Provedeno je istraživanje na primjeru poslovanja hotela Antunović u Zagrebu, što ima za cilj ustanoviti mogućnosti prilagodbe hotela i hotelskog poslovanja novonastalim okolnostima. Većina podataka za završni rad prikupljena je polustrukturiranim dubinskim intervjuom, te analizom literature o dosadašnjim istraživanjima. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da se hotel Antunović uspješno prilagodio novonastaloj situaciji uzrokovanoj korona krizom, te i dalje uspješno pruža sve usluge iz osnovnih djelatnosti. Dodatnim naporima poput proširenja asortimana, produljenja radnog vremena, uštedama na svakoj razini poslovanja, uz zadržavanje istog broja zaposlenika, ostao je i dalje tržišni lider u ponudi hotelskog smještaja, ponudi usluga organiziranja kongresa i seminara te svadbenih svečanosti i maturalnih večeri. |
Abstract (english) | This paper deals with the analysis of hotel management, with an emphasis on business adjustment in the context of the current corona virus pandemic.The quality of business of every business entity is characterized by, among other factors, the reaction speed and the ability to adapt and adjust to new and unpredictable situations. The drastic decline of global economy caused by the corona virus pandemic has not bypassed the Republic of Croatia. The crisis has affected numerous economic entities, many of which are experiencing a drastic drop in turnover, while some have been forced to close down, all leading to an increase of unemployment. Given that the Republic of Croatia is a tourism-oriented country wherein tourism occupies a large share of total GDP, the decline in tourist consumption has further weakened the Croatian economy. Hospitality is an important segment of the tourism sector, which is an additional reason for adjusting the business model to the new corona crisis. A research was conducted on the example of the business model of the Antunović hotel in Zagreb, which aims to explore the possibilities of hotel and hotel management adaptation, regarding the new circumstances. Majority of the data for this thesis was collected via a semi-structured in depth interview, and via analysis of literature on previous research regarding the same or similar topic. The research has shown that the Antunović hotel has successfully adapted to the new situation caused by the corona crisis, and continues to successfully provide all its services. With additional efforts such as expanding its offer, extending working hours, making savings, all while retaining the same number of employees, the Antunović hotel remained the market leader in hotel accommodation, congress and seminar services, as well as a wedding and prom nights vendor. |
