Ovaj rad analizira postojeću ugostiteljsku ponudu Zagrebačke županije koju čini devet gradova: Samobor, Velika Gorica, Zaprešić, Dugo Selo, Jastrebarsko, Ivanić Grad, Sveti Ivan Zelina, Vrbovec i Sveta Nedelja. Intervju proveden s direktoricom Turističke zajednice Zagrebačke županije daje uvid u promocije, manifestacije, statistiku dolazaka i ostale relevantne podatke vezane uz turizam same županije. |
Abstract (english) | The topic of this final thesis refers to the analysis of the existing catering offer in Zagreb County whose results will show whether there is a need to expand it and to what extent. Like a ring, the Zagreb County surrounds the city of Zagreb, which is at the same time Croatia's largest emitting center. Therefore, “weekend excursions” and daily visits from Zagreb represent a great potential for tourism in Zagreb County. In addition, it is surrounded by numerous Croatian counties and borders Slovenia in the west. This paper analyses the existing catering offer of Zagreb County consisting of nine cities: Samobor, Velika Gorica, Zaprešić, Dugo Selo, Jastrebarsko, Ivanić Grad, Sveti Ivan Zelina, Vrbovec i Sveta Nedjelja. The interview, conducted with the director of the Tourist Board of Zagreb County, provides insight into promotions, events, arrival statistics and other relevant data related to tourism of the County itself. The county's weak spot is accommodation capacity with only 9 hotels and 361 beds, which reduces the county's potential when it comes to tourism. The county is making intensive efforts to promote itself through various channels and is recording an increase in arrivals from year to year, which has been slowed by the COVID-19 pandemic this year. |
