| Abstract | Novinarstvo je djelatnost koja se bavi prikupljanjem, obradom i distribucijom informacija
široj publici putem različitih medija. Po duljini se novinarski tekstovi dijele na duge i
kratke. Kratki novinski oblici mogu biti novinarske vijesti ili bilješke. Međutim, postoje i
oblici ustaljenih struktura poput horoskopa, koji se često nalaze u novinama ili na
novinskim portalima, a koji nisu ili nisu nužno pisani tipičnim publicističkim stilom.
Tematika horoskopa pripada području astrologije, bavi se proricanjem sudbine
pojedinog čovjeka ili ljudskih zajednica iz položaja planeta i zvijezda u određenom
trenutku. Horoskop se na internetskim portalima i u tiskanim novinama pojavljuje na
stranicama s tipičnim dnevnim vijestima, najčešće u rubrici koja donosi priloge
povezane sa životnim stilom. Javlja se također na portalima posvećenim različitoj ciljnoj
publici te na portalima i časopisima posvećenim astrologiji. U radu je analiziran jezik i
stil horoskopa na internetskim portalima koji donose dnevne novosti objavljenih od
siječnja do ožujka 2023. godine. Analizirani tekstovi sastoje se od nekoliko tematskih
odlomaka s dvije do tri rečenice koje izražavaju mogućnost, savjet ili tvrdnju. U njima se
upotrebljavaju izrazi specifični za astrologiju, ali i psihološki nazivi. Pokazano je da
horoskopi na novinskim portalima pripadaju publicističkomu funkcionalnom stilu, da po
stilu i dijelu jezičnih značajki korespondiraju s novinskim portalima na kojima se
pojavljuju te da se mogu promatrati kao ostvaraji male tekstne vrste čije se značajke
mogu definirati. |
| Abstract (english) | Journalism is an activity of gathering, preparation and distribution of information to the
public, through different media. According to the length, news forms can be long and
short. Short news form content can be short report or note. However, there are also
forms of common structures, such as horoscopes, which can often be found in the
newspapers or on news portals, and which do not obey the rules of typical journalistic
style. The horoscope belongs to the field of astrology and aims to predict the fate of
individuals or societies, from the position of the planets and stars at a specific moment.
Horoscope on Internet portals and in printed newspapers appears on the pages with
typical daily news, usually on the pages under the title lifestyle. Horoscopes are also
present on portals dedicated to targeted public, as well as on portals and journals
dedicated to astrology. In this paper, the language and style of horoscopes present on
Internet portals with daily news were analysed. From January to March 2023 analysed
texts contained several paragraphs linked to a specific topic, with two or three
sentences expressing possibility, advice or statement. Horoscopes used phrases typical
for astrology, but also psychological terms. It was shown that horoscopes on news
portals belong to publicistic functional style, that, according to style and some of the
linguistic characteristics, corresponds to news portals on which they are published and
that they can be considered as short text forms with defined characteristics. |
