PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder is a psychiatric disorder that occurs when exposing or witnessing certain experiences that are most often life-threatening. Trauma is an extremely threatening horrific event or series of events. Risk factors are divided into: pretraumatic, peritraumatic and post-traumatic factors. Approximately 3 to 6% of the general population suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. Posttraumatic stress disorder is divided into acute, chronic, and delayed. Sociotherapy has a positive effect on the patient's behavior, establishes self-control and responsible behavior, and the patient and his family are actively involved in the process of his treatment. Psychotherapy acts directly on the patient, and seeks to establish a professional relationship between the patient and the psychotherapist. Group psychotherapy is a treatment in which the therapist and group members with similar or the same experiences give feedback and exchange thoughts and experiences. Suicidality is an important psychopathological entity that trembles observed from different aspects due to its complexity and phenomenology. Suicidality is viewed from several different points of view: psychiatric, sociological, cultural, religious and others. Post-traumatic stress disorder is known to increase the risk of depression and suicidality.
