Window display is part of the store’s exterior and it has to attract people to enter the store. Nicely decorated displays will encourage positive behaviour towards shopping within the customers. There they can find information about the price of the product, price reductions, information about brands and styles. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether the design of the window display affects the number of customers. The research problem includes all the elements that are closely linked to the window display, whose effectiveness will attract the buyers and create a positive behaviour towards shopping. The goal of this research was to examine whether the window design affects the number of the customers and whether the design has any influence on customers when making a decision to buy a product. For the purpose of this research, a specially designed survey was used containing 16 closed-ended questions, demographic data and data on customer habits. The research involved 100 participants and the data were collected online using random sampling. The results have shown that the respondents are more likely to enter the store because they are attracted to the products on the display and also the prominent prices. The majority of the respondents stated that they would like the reduced prices to be written in a larger format and to be in a different colour. The conclusion of the research has shown that window displays have a big influence on the customers and affect their decisions when buying a product.
