Abstract
U praksi je upravljanje prostorom (engl. space management) ključno za ovladavanje svakog voditelja prodavaonice. Međutim, upravljanje prostorom nije uvijek jednostavno jer se moraju uzeti u obzir mnogi čimbenici. Pri tome se ne smiju zaboraviti posljedice neuspjeha upravljanja prostorom u prodavaonici koje se iskazuju na način da lošim upravljanjem prostorom prodavaonica može početi generirati financijske gubitke i gubiti potrošače. Upravljanje prostorom nije težak ili kompliciran koncept maloprodaje za razumijevanje. Ukratko, to se odnosi na upravljanje prostorom unutar maloprodajnog mjesta. Space management se može opisati kao proces kompetentnog upravljanja raspoloživim prostorom kako bi trgovci ugodili svojim kupcima i povećali svoju prodaju. Space management je važan dio u ostvarenju povećane prodaje i ispunjenja zahtjeva i želja kupaca. Prilagodbom kupcima u vidu prostornog razmještaja, istima se omogućuje značajnija dostupnost proizvoda, emocionalan doživljaj kupnje te poticaj da opet dođu u trgovinu.
Abstract (english)
In practice, for every shop manager it is crucial to master space management. However, managing the space is not always simple because a lot of factors must be taken into account. In doing so, the consequences of failnig to manage the space in a shop must not be forgotten since they are shown in a way that the shop may start generating financial losses and losing customers. The space management is neither a difficult nor a complicated concept of retail sale to understand. In short, it refers to the space management inside the retail outlet. The space management can be described as a process of competent management of available space in order for shop assistants to please their customers and increase their sales. The space management plays an important part in achieving sales increase, meeting the requirements and fulfilling wishes of the buyers. Adapting to the buyers by keeping in mind spatial arrangement, they are provided with significant product availability, emotional experience of buying and a motivation to visit the shop again.
