Abstract
Poduzetništvo predstavlja proces koji za cilj ima ostvarenje profita uz određena ulaganja i preuzimanje rizika. S jačanjem poduzetništva i otvaranjem novih poduzeća otvarat će se i nova radna mjesta što sve za posljedicu ima jačanje ekonomije. Poduzetnička aktivnost se definira kao ljudsko djelovanje u potrazi za stvaranjem vrijednosti, kroz stvaranje ili širenje ekonomske aktivnosti, identificiranjem i iskorištavanjem novih proizvoda, procesa ili tržišta. Cilj rada je na temelju prikupljenih sekundarnih podataka publiciranih u okviru GEM Hrvatska za 2021. godinu analizirati poduzetničku aktivnost u Republici Hrvatskoj. Rezultati istraživanja sugeriraju na izazove s kojima se hrvatski poduzetnici danas nose te omogućuju kreatorima politika i drugim dionicima bolje razumjeti čimbenike koji utječu na stopu i intenzitet poduzetničke aktivnosti, a koje će u budućnosti utjecati na ishode poduzetništva posebice u dijelu produktivnosti, gospodarskog rasta i stvaranja novih radnih mjesta.
Abstract (english)
Entrepreneurship is a process that aims to make a profit with certain investments and risk taking. With the strengthening of entrepreneurship and the opening of new companies, new jobs will also be created, which all result in a strengthening of the economy. Entrepreneurial activity is defined as activity in search of value creation, through the creation or expansion of human economic activity, by identifying and exploiting new products, processes or markets. The aim of the paper is to analyze entrepreneurial activity in the Republic of Croatia for the year 2021 based on the collected secondary data published within the framework of GEM Croatia. The results of the research suggest the challenges that Croatian entrepreneurs are dealing with today and enable policy makers and other stakeholders to better understand the factors that influence the rate and intensity of entrepreneurial activity, and which in the future will influence the outcomes of entrepreneurship, especially in terms of productivity, economic growth and the creation of new jobs.
