Abstract
Hijatalna hernija nastaje pomakom gastroezofagealne spojnice iz abdomena u medijastinum. Razlikujemo dvije vrstehijatalne hernije, kliznu i paraezofagealnu. Hijatalna hernija često dovodi do gastroezofagealne refluksne bolesti (GERB). Pojavnost hijatalne hernije povećava se s dobi. Stanja koja povećavaju intraabdominalni tlak povećavaju i rizik za nastanak hijatalne hernije. Najčešće dijagnostičke metode su kontrastna metoda radiografije, endoskopija, manometrija i kompjutorizirana tomografija. Liječenje je simptomatsko; promjenom životnih navika, farmakološki (najčešće inhibitori protonske pumpe) i kirurški.
Abstract (english)
Hiatus herniaappears due to the displacement of the gastro-oesophageal joint from the abdominal cavity to the mediastinum. There are two types of hiatus hernia, sliding and para-oesophageal. Hiatus hernia often leads to gastro-oesophageal reflux diseaseGERD. The appearance of hiatushernia increases with age. Conditions that increase intraabdominal pressure also increase the risk of hiatus hernia formation. The most common diagnostic methods are contrasting methods of radiography, endoscopy, manometry and computerized tomography. Treatment is symptomatic; changing life habits, pharmacological (usually proton pump inhibitors) and surgical.
